Hunter Hub – Tenet 12C
The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking is a resource for students, staff, faculty, alumni and community to connect with mentorship, resources and initiatives geared towards supporting entrepreneurial activities and growth. The Hunter Hub is a central component of the University of Calgary with the mandate to spread knowledge of entrepreneurial thinking. The Hub is a resource for students, staff, faculty, alumni and community to connect with mentorship, resources and initiatives geared towards supporting entrepreneurial activities and growth. Tenet I2C is one of the initiatives within the Hunter Hub, a pitch competition specifically designed to support the growth of healthcare innovation across disciplines.

Innov8social is co-creating an impact ecosystem with global partners through experiences, content, training, and tools focused on making social entrepreneurship more accessible and actionable. Impactathon® by Innov8social is an interactive hackathon experience that engages participants in mapping problems, designing solutions, working in groups, and pitching to judges. Fifteen Impactathons with over 350 participants have taken place with partners, including universities, foundations, and companies––and now, for the first time, Innov8social is co-creating a very special Impactathon® experience for entrepreneurial and impact-minded communities and social impact leaders in Canada at Inventures 2020.
Boast.AI automates and increases SR&ED claims by combining proprietary software with in-house engineers and CPAs. Over 300 companies have switched to Boast to increase claims and refunds for less time and audit risk.
The Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN) is a not-for-profit organization co-developed by industry, academia, and non-profit partners and created through investment from the Government of Canada’s Strategic Innovation Fund. CAAIN enables the accelerated application of digital and automated technologies in the agri-food industry by supporting network participants in leveraging their resources, building connections, and delivering impactful research and innovation projects. CAAIN’s goal is to drive productivity, cost efficiency, employment, and value chain premiums for Canada’s agri-food sector by converting data into intelligence, shaping automated ecosystems, and creating smart farm platforms for scaling technologies.
