Art Froehlich is past president and managing partner of AdFarm and has held senior executive positions with Hoechst Canada Inc, Alberta Pool and Westcan Malting. He continues to work with Canadian food and ag companies in developing international markets. He sits on many corporate boards including RR46, JEH Enterprises and Richardson. Art is a past Board Chair of Genome Alberta and Alberta Innovates BioSolutions. He is also a past board member of ATB, the Canadian Agricultural Policy Research Institute, FBSciences and Radicle. In 2005, Art was awarded the Distinguished Agrologist Award, and the Alberta Centennial Gold Medal. He was inducted into the BioIndustrial Hall of Fame in 2012 and received an Honorary Degree from Olds College in 2014. In 2022 Art was awarded the Alberta Order of Excellence and the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal. Art continues to support initiatives in Peru and several developing countries. He is still active in his farming operations.
