Dr. Christine Picard is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and is the Co-Director and Site Director for the NSF Center for Environmental Sustainability through Insect Farming (CEIF) that bridges academic research and industrial needs for the growing insect agriculture sector. Dr. Picard has over 15 years of experience in using molecular methods and genomics to understand basic insect biology, for both forensic and agricultural applications.
