Derrick Mayes is Managing Partner at Bonaventure Equity, LLc. Prior to that, Mayes was VP of WME/IMG and CEO of ExecutiveAction Sports & Entertainment, serving as a strategic advisor to high profile individuals and organizations in the industry. Mr. Mayes has over 18 years of experience in strategic planning, investment and risk mitigation. In 2019, Mayes was appointed to the Board of Patrick Industries, Inc (PATK), becoming one of the youngest African American board members for an S&P 500 corporation. Additionally, Mayes sits as a Director of the Notre Dame Monogram Board. Member of the Orange Bowl HoF, Indiana Football HoF, Mayes’ college career as an All-American, 2-timeTeam MVP, and Sr. Captain at Notre Dame catapulted him into the NFL as a 2nd round draft pick to the Green Bay Packers, winning Super Bowl XXXI in his rookie season. Derrick holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Corporate Governance Certificate from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
