Duncan Wardle is the former Head of Innovation and Creativity at the Walt Disney Company, where he worked for 25 years. He is the founder of ID8, an independent consultancy that helps companies embed a culture of innovation and creativity. From working with NASA to launch Buzz Lightyear into space, to teaming up with brands such as the Star Wars empire, Marvel superheroes and many more, Duncan’s diverse experience informs his unique Design Thinking process that helps people capture unlikely connections, leading to both fresh thinking and revolutionary ideas. Duncan is a multiple TedX speaker and contributor to Fast Company Magazine and teaches Innovation and Design Thinking Masterclasses at Yale, Harvard and Edinburgh University. He is a recipient of the American Citizen Award presented at the White House, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, presented by Queen Elizabeth. Duncan holds an Hons. MBA and Hons. Doctorate from Edinburgh University.
