Kate Popiel is a highly accomplished and driven individual with extensive experience in the fields of business, entrepreneurship and hospitality. With over 16 years of indudtry experience, she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various aspects of food and beverage which has given her insights into the challenges faced by local restaurants and how they can be overcome to achieve success. Kate graduated in Fashion Business from Humber College with honours with distinction in 2014. After moving home to Edmonton from Toronto, she combined her love for entrepreneurship with extensive knowledge in the restaurant industry to form ‘What’s the Deal?’, a restaurant deal-finding platform, with her brother Leo. She has developed strategies and methods to help local restaurants thrive in a competitive market.
