, Economic Research Service, USDAShida Henneberry is Director of the Market and Trade Economics Division of the Economic Research Service of USDA. The MTED Division is comprised of four branches, employing 80+ professional staff, engaged in a program of economic research and data analysis, focused on commodity markets and trade in food and agricultural products. Shida joined ERS as the chief of the International Trade and Development Branch in MTED in December 2020. Before joining ERS, Shida served as director of the Master of International Agriculture Program, Regents Professor of Agricultural Economics, and inaugural holder of the Humphreys Endowed Chair at Oklahoma State University. Shida created and directed the MIAP and built the program from the ground up to become one of the largest graduate degree programs in Agriculture at OSU. Shida has authored 82 peer-reviewed journal articles in international trade and development, food marketing and agricultural export promotion.
