Tate Juniper is Sahtúot’ine (Great Bear Lake Dene), born and raised on Chief Drygeese Territory, Yellowknife, NWT. He has a diverse educational and professional background in finance, economics, wildland firefighting and video journalism. In 2021, Tate began a videography project, We Are The First, grounded in authentic representations and portrayals of Indigenous people. Tate currently works with EntrepreNorth as their Impact Fund Catalyst. His work is centered on creating accessible capital and impact finance opportunities for northern Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities.
