A serial entrepreneur and executive in the life sciences industry, Valentin Fulga is an MD who has founded and led several companies from inception to major value inflection, including taking one of these companies public. He began his biopharmaceutical as a research scientist and advanced up to the President and CEO level. As Senior VP of Development at one of the first cell therapy companies in the world, and then as President and CEO of a stem cell company, Dr. Fulga has been intimately involved in the development, manufacturing and analytical processes of cell-based products, leading large multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations. He has been recognized as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and served as a delegate to the Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos where he moderated a session about tissue engineering. He is the inventor of over 50 issued and pending patents worldwide, and has authored 15 scientific and medical articles.
