Dr. Warren Parker is Chairman of Pāmu (Landcorp Farming Ltd), New Zealand’s largest farming company and a State Owned Enterprise. Warren’s executive career was in New Zealand’s Crown Research Institutes including serving as chief executive of Scion (the NZ Forest Research Institute) and Landcare Research, as well as chief operating officer of AgResearch. Other board roles include FarmIQ (Chair), Quayside Holdings, Focus Genetics, Farmlands Co-operative and Genomics Aotearoa. He also chairs the NZ Government’s Forestry Ministerial Advisory Group. He chaired the New Zealand Conservation Authority (2014-2017) and Griffith Enterprise (2018-2021) and was on the establishment board for Predator Free 2050 Ltd. Warren has a PhD in animal science and a Master’s in Farm Management and was Professor of Agribusiness and Resource Management at Massey University from 1980-1998. He has published more than 200 journal, conference and industry papers and been a key note speaker at industry conferences.
