Dr. Yasmine Abdin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at UBC, and is the lead of the Advanced Composite Materials and Structures research group. Dr. Abdin has over 12 years of experience in composites manufacturing and performance, durability, failure, and in-service behavior. She is leading the Bitumen Beyond Combustion research program at UBC.
